This page explains how to delete your account and data in the Worena app on Google Play (developer: Mustafa Ali Erdoğan), what is deleted, and what is kept and for how long. Worena accounts are separate from Kelimetrik accounts: deleting your Worena account does not affect a Kelimetrik account, even if both use the same Google account.

1. Delete in the app

  1. Open Worena and sign in to your account.
  2. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom.
  3. Tap the Settings (gear) icon at the top right.
  4. Under My data, tap Delete account.
  5. Read "Before you delete your account" and tap Continue. If you want, first get a copy of your data with Download my data first.
  6. At Confirm it's you, verify with your Google account.
  7. At Final confirmation, tick the box and tap Delete my account.

The screen shows the date on which your account will be deleted. Until then, for 14 days, you can open the app and tap Cancel deletion to change your mind.

If you have a Premium subscription: deleting your account does not cancel it, and Google Play will keep charging you. Cancel it separately: Google Play app › profile icon › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Worena › Cancel subscription.

If you play as a guest: Profile › Settings › Delete my guest data. Guest data is deleted immediately, without a waiting period.

2. If you cannot sign in

  1. From the e-mail address registered to your account, send an e-mail to syzitech@gmail.com with the subject "Worena account deletion request".
  2. Include your username (if you know it).
  3. We will send a verification message to the same address. When you confirm your request with the step in that message, your deletion request starts and the same 14-day waiting period as in the app applies.
  4. If you have a Premium subscription, cancel it in Google Play as described in section 1; deleting your account does not cancel it.

We answer your request within 30 days at the latest. We will never ask you for your Google password, a sign-in code or payment details.

3. Right after your request

4. What is deleted

Within 48 hours after the 14-day period ends, the following are permanently deleted:

Messages other people wrote to you remain in their accounts.
